Faustino Gomez was an old-timer who made cigars his whole life. Although his cigars were very well made and his prices were extraordinarily reasonable, his brand never became a huge success, mostly because he was more interested in making cigars than selling them. After his death the brand name changed hands a couple of times until we picked it up in 1986. We offer these cigars in much the same fashion Faustino did - very good cigars for a very reasonable price. These cigars are actually seconds from one of our leading brands. The Regalias and Churchills are 100% long filler, the Cetros and Coronas are made with cut filler. Both utilize Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan filler. Classified as seconds because their wrappers have slight discolorations, the cigars smoke and taste just like their first quality counterparts.
